BYD Wins Double Crown, Baojun E100 Breaks Out
In January 2019, the perennial champion of BAIC New Energy, a pure electric passenger car, temporarily retired from the forefront, and BYD won the monthly championship for both pure electric passenger cars and plug-in hybrid passenger cars. Another surprise was that GM SAIC Wuling suddenly fought its way out to become the runner-up in all-electric passenger cars, using only the Baojun E100. The industry as a whole, January out of the new energy vehicles production and marketing "a good start." Domestic wholesale sales of new energy passenger vehicles in January totaled 91,200 vehicles, up 184.52 percent from a year earlier, down 40 percent from December, according to the Federation of Passenger Car Manufacturers. The sales volume of pure electric A-class and A0-class cars increased more than tenfold compared with the same period of last year. The wholesale sales volume of pure electric passenger cars of A00-class continued to shrink by 72,100 vehicles in January, up by 265.48% compared with the same period of last year, accounting for 79.16% of the market share of new energy passenger cars. Wholesale sales volume of plug-in passenger vehicles was 19,000, up 54.51% year-on-year, with a market share of 20.84%. The pure electric market is still stronger than the plug-and-mix market. Taking a closer look at the pure electric market, A-class cars replaced the A00 class as the largest segment, with wholesale sales of 33,000 vehicles, up 16-fold from a year earlier, accounting for 36.17 per cent of wholesale sales in January, up sharply from 6.07 per cent in January last year. The market share of the pure electric A0 class has also risen sharply, from 9.38% in 2017 to 11.99% in 2018. In January, 15,700 pure electric A0 class cars were sold, up more than 12-fold from a year earlier, with a market share of 17.24%. Grade A0 Pure electric vehicle prices moderate, consumer groups positioning city commuter, market space gradually opened. According to the above-mentioned data, the sales of A0-class pure electric vehicles in 2018 have spread to Henan, Jiangxi, Chongqing and other places from the north. In addition, pure electric A0-class vehicles tend to be SUVs in the category. The application attributes of urban commuting and short-distance travel will further expand its market space, and it is expected to become the growth pole of new energy passenger vehicles in 2019. Wholesale sales of the pure electric A00 class totaled 21,426 vehicles in January, accounting for 23.50%, up only 27.5% year-on-year and down nearly 30% from last January's 52.13% market share. For 2018 as a whole, the overall share of all-electric A00-class vehicles was 36.76%, down from 49.83% in 2017 and expected to decline further this year. However, if subsidies recede altogether, four-wheel low-speed electric cars will never be legally regulated, and the A00-class market is likely to grow, as BYD's A00-class E1 is aimed at. However, the recession in subsidies will drive up the cost of purchasing, and the profit outlook for time-share leasing is uncertain, so the demand for A00 pure electric vehicles at the C-and B-ends will shrink in 2019. In January, A-class and B-class cars were roughly evenly divided, while C-class cars had a negligible share of the mix. Compared with the same period last year, the sales volume of plug-and-mix A-class cars dropped by 12.61% year on year, which was the only market segment that declined year on year. Sales of plug-in B-class cars rose 580% year-on-year. The drop in the plug-in A-class market could come from pure electric A-class cars Extrusion of. BYD pure electricity, plug-in hybrid doubles won the championship, Shangtong Wuling with an A00 class car second car company, champion BYD 28,100 cars sales far ahead of the second place Shangtong Wuling 8,312 cars more than three times; Shangtong Wuling leaned on Baojun E100, a car model recorded monthly sales of second place, also counted as hard-core upper, and Baojun E100 in single-car sales this month is also in the second place; Geely sold 6,937 vehicles a month, ranking third, with Dihao's EV and GSe powered. By convention, most auto companies saw sales fall back in january after a year-end rush, but not all: monthly sales at shangtong, wuling, geely, great wall, lifan and dongfeng liuzhou all surpassed december's by a sizeable margin. The main reason is that the new subsidy policy has not been introduced in 2019, and as usual in previous years, cars sold before the introduction of the new policy can be subsidized under the old policy. That equals January sales, the same as at the end of previous years. BYD deserves to win the championship with its rich models and sizable sales volume of individual models. The sales volume of A0-class Yuan EV is the highest, accounting for 35.9% of the sales volume of BYD in that month. Yuan EV is also the champion model in sales volume of that month, and is the only model with over 10,000 sales volume. B-class car Tang PHEV sales of 6,908 vehicles, accounting for 24.6%. Shangtong Wuling's pure electric A00-class Baojun E100 sold 8,312 vehicles, up 77% from last month. Geely's A-class models have sold 2,808 Dihao GSe cars, a month-on-month comparison An increase of 402%; Dihao sells 2,578 EVs. The two all-electric A-class cars account for 77.64% of sales. LinkedIn 01 PHEV sales of 741 vehicles; Sales of the B-class GE PHEV (788) also rose 67.3% from December. SAIC sold 2,999 all-electric A-class cars, or 48.65% of SAIC's sales of new-energy passenger vehicles in the month, compared with 334 for MARVEL X. BAIC's January sales of 3,895 new-energy passenger vehicles were supported by the EU Class A series, accounting for 86.3% of BAIC's monthly sales of new-energy passenger vehicles, while Dangjiabao's A00 EC Class series shrank sharply, selling only 14 vehicles, severely affecting BAIC's ranking as a new energy company. On the pure electric passenger car market alone, signs have emerged that are unusual in previous years. In January, BYD surpassed its longtime pure-electric champion, BAIC New Energy, with 16,312 units, accounting for 58.05% of BYD's January sales, and continued to lead with 11,786 plug-in passenger cars. BYD is a pure plug-in and double-drive company. Beijing Automotive New Energy, the ever-victorious general in the pure electricity market, slipped to fourth place in January, trailing Shanghai Wuling and Geely New Energy, as sales of EC products plummeted. BAIC new energy year under the replacement of the general manager, it is expected that there will be a period of adjustment and adaptation. Sales of BAIC's new energy should rebound in the near future. Pure Electric Class A Vehicle Market Competition Intense From January effective sales, pure electric A-class car market, the largest number of models, 27 models to achieve effective sales (47 models on the register), competition is also the most intense. BYD, BAIC New Energy, SAIC Passenger Cars and Geely Automobiles are traditional competitors in the segment, and Great Wall and Euler began competing late last year. In January, BYD e5, BAIC EU series, Roewe Ei5, Dihao ESe and Dihao EV ranked in the top five in all-electric A-class car market. Dihao's GSe is a pure electric SUV targeted primarily at private consumers, while the other four models are relatively "older" and have been polishing the market for years, with the taxi market accounting for a significant portion of sales. BYD e5 started from Taiyuan taxi market in early 2016 and has entered Shenzhen, Tianjin, Nanning and other cities so far. Another all-electric A-Class car, the BYD E6, which didn't sell in January, has been targeting urban uses such as government, utilities or taxi fleets, and will focus on the domestic taxi market, with government purchases and group purchases dominating. Beijing, where that EU series sit, enjoys regional license plates and road rights dividend, which are favoured by private users in Beijing. BAIC 's travel platforms, such as Huaxia travel and light travel, also absorb a significant portion of BAIC' s new energy models, including the EU series--33.68 percent of the EU series licensed last December--from rental rentals. Geely's Dihao EV has sold a total of 45,500 vehicles since 2015. By the end of 2018, Cao Cao car ownership close to 25, 000, it can be seen that half of the listed Dihao EV to Cao Cao car. The same is true for the Roewe Ei5 of SAIC passenger cars, which was first introduced to the Shanghai taxi market in October 2018. In December, Roewe licensed 11,401 Ei 5 vehicles, of which 6,223 were from Shanghai and 5,489 were for rental, according to the data. Great Wall Motor, which has long been worried about a "double-point management policy", launched its Euler brand last year, positioning itself as the "leader in a new generation of electric cars" as the Great Wall's independently created brand for new energy vehicles. Euler models were born in the electric vehicle exclusive platform ME platform, soft cute appearance, mileage is not the pursuit of radical, known as "the perfect match for commuters." Euler has two models on the market, and the A-Class iQ sold 2,036 vehicles in January, up 93% from December. In fact, Euler iQ sales have been robust since its launch in September. Lifan's two all-electric A-class models, the Lifan 650 and the Lifan 820, also sold well in January, with 1,234 and 1,682 units, respectively, outperforming the all-electric A-class segment. Separately, Xiaopeng's G3 IDENTY X sold 599 vehicles in January, up from 41 in December. Starting from February 1, Xiaopeng Motor Co., Ltd. Adjusted the subsidized price of the G3 series, raising the unified price to 1558-19.9 yuan from 1358-165.8 million yuan after subsidization The consumer's reaction to the price adjustment needs to be observed in the follow-up market. BYD Yuan EV sweeps the A0-class market The pure electric A0-class market will be another highly competitive segment of the market in 2019. In January, 13 pure-electric A0 models (33 models on the roster) were sold, with BYD, GAC New Energy, BAIC New Energy, Great Wall Motor, Chery New Energy, Yundu New Energy and other car companies all laying out in the market of this segment. From January plate market, BYD Yuan EV360 monopolizes more than 60% of the market share, January 17, upgrade EV 535 pre-sale, pre-sale range for new cars after subsidies of 11.0 million-14.0 million yuan, and will officially go on sale in March. The Euler R1, a Great Wall Q-friendly electric car that doesn't use the SUV route, made a splash, selling 1,749 units in January, ranking second in sales of all-electric A0-class models. The Euler R1 is positioned as a pro-city vehicle that delivers urban travel solutions to consumers, and the power figures are not particularly exaggerated. The comprehensive range of the basic version is 310km, and the high-power version can reach 351km, which is enough for daily urban travel. Chuanqi GE3 of GAC New Energy and BAIC EX Series ranked third and fourth respectively. According to the market practice of GAC New Energy and BAIC New Energy, Chuanqi GE3 is challenged to pass the EX Series. BAIC New Energy abdicated due to the shrinkage of the A00-class market in January, the shrinkage of the pure electric A00-class market is expected, the domestic market has emerged 46 pure electric A00-class Only 15 of the cars sold in January, and the once-glamorous BAIC EC series sold only 14. Still, the Baojun E100 sold 8,312 vehicles, accounting for nearly 40% of the market that month. Shangtong Wuling also took second place in wholesale sales in January with sales of the model. Baojun E100 is clearly positioned, long-term only in its origin Liuzhou sales, known as the "Liuzhou model." The Liuzhou government has stimulated and expanded the market for "sitting tenants" Baojun by providing exclusive parking spaces, reducing parking fees and mileage subsidies, and allowing two new energy vehicles to use bus lanes, among other policies. BYD will enter the pure electric A00-class car market for the first time this year with e1, which will go on sale in April. It is worth looking forward to the performance of BYD e1 in the pure electric A00-class car market by relying on brand endorsement and sales network. BYD accounts for half of the plug-and-mix market, historically dominated by BYD and SAIC passenger vehicles. In January, BYD sold 11,800 plug-and-mix models, accounting for 62.03% of the plug-and-mix market that month, while 2,708 plug-and-mix models were sold in the previous period, accounting for 14.25% of the monthly market. From the body size, SAIC passenger vehicles plug-in models are mainly A-class vehicles, BYD is in a strong position in the B-class car market, Tang PHEV model won 36.36% of the plug-in market that month. SAIC Volkswagen ranked third in the plug-in market in January, with its plug-in model, the Passat, selling steadily for three consecutive months. Lucky Link 01, Bridge GE two plug-in models are also high-profile products, subsidies after the decline in the market performance is also worth looking forward to.
